honor, duty, country...

This space will be quiet today to honor a fallen hero, Harold Brown Jr. He was one of the seven CIA agents killed in Afghanistan and a fellow parishioner. I will never forget his laughter, his generous smile or the joy he found in his family.

I ask that at 1 pm this afternoon, you bow your heads and say a prayer for the repose of his soul. This is the hour of his Memorial Mass here at his home parish in Virginia. Pray for his wife Janet and their three beautiful children. Pray for strength, perseverance and peace of heart.

May Our Lady wrap her mantle of protection around all of those who serve this great nation. May Our Lord give peace to all their families as they await their safe return.

May You Rest In Peace Harold.

Blessings and Grace,
Mary
