43!

Hello!

Did you miss me?

I promise to be back with you all on Monday. Today is my 43rd Birthday and the Good Lord has blessed me with a wonderful day after a very stressful week .
(I'll tell you more about it I promise)

So thank you for your patience and understanding!

Now back to the ice cream!!
(please ignore the "double chin", bad angle for the photo...no seriously!)

Blessings,
Mary

Mary, My daughter and I read your blog about Nancy Drew!. Thank you! Thank you! My daughter is having the same experience you did about reading. Funny thing was that we were reading the first book and we had so many words to look up she started getting overwhelmed like you did as a child. After we read the chapter I went online to look up the reading level and I found your blog. Well, my daughter read you experiences and smiled. She, said " I can do this!" We went back to the couch and finished that chapter.(she was tired, but she did it). It was your blog that saved her! Thank you!!!!

ALICE!!
I am so thrilled that my story helped someone. PLEASE tell your daughter not to give up. There is a world just waiting to greet her with each and every adventure she reads. I had such a hard time learning but once I did there was no stopping me. Now I cannot imagine my world without books (although I would have so much more room in my house! LOL!)
Thank you for leaving such an encouraging note. You have no idea how much it has touched my heart.
Blessings and Grace to you and your beautiful daughter.
