fruitcake cookies...

these crisp flavorful cookies are filled with warm spices and dried fruit...delightful!
It's Day Four in our 25 Days of Christmas Treats Extravaganza. I had a goal before starting this venture that I would step outside my typical baking box and try some new flavor profiles this season. This cookie was one of those.

These Fruitcake Cookies contain dried fruit and a combination of cloves and cinnamon. They have a crisp texture with a warm flavor profile. In short they are quite delish and I will admit, the best fruitcake experience I have ever had.

So take a walk on the wild side and embrace the fruitcake cookie. You won't regret it.

Merry Christmas and Happy Baking!
