reaching out into cyberspace and making new friends...

This past month I jumped on the Wifessionals Cara Box bandwagon. It was my first time participating in this little swap and I am so glad I did it. I was assigned to give to Kris@krislovesfabric  a personalized box and Shauna@Shauna's World was assigned to send a box to me. Both women are quilter's and incredible ones at that. You really should pop over and visit their blogs out because their work is quite wonderful. It was such a joy to get to know both women over the course of the last few weeks. They are both very sweet and caring individuals and I look forward to staying in touch with them.

You can check out what I sent Kris over at her blog. I was very happy with all my choices and luckily so was she. Yea!! My love language is gift giving and this little project just made me smile. Here is what Shauna sent me and boy did she really surprise me, such a wonderful box of love.

She sent a beautiful "family" frame for all the photos I take that will look wonderful in my bedroom. Such a sweet sentiment. She introduced me to a new form of crack called "Bugles Caramel"...holy good...salty sweet good. The world has been holding out on me with these. WOW! She also sent a really cool pair of earrings that I have already worn twice. Love them!!

There were some blinged out pumpkins since my favorite "season" is fall and the softest, most delectable scarf in the perfect shade of blue. Come on football season...I have some new duds to wear.

My favorite thing though, were the new coasters she made for me. I love that they are reversable, washable and in graphic blue/white patterns. Her workmanship is top notch...LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Miss 'da bomb girlfriend!

So looking forward to the next Cara Box experience. Thanks so much to Kris and Shauna for making this one so special.
