what i wore wednesday ~ vol.7...

I have hit a little rut when it come to my daily wardrobe so I can't wait to check out everyone's entries this week to get a little inspiration. Joining up with Lindsey @ The Pleated Poppy and Kristen@the Mrs. and the Momma here we go...

#1

I love this shell. I got it at Dress Barn on a whim and am so glad I did. It's bright and happy and says "Let's have a drink with a little umbrella in it!" It makes me smile, so I paired it with green seersucker pants from the Talbots Red Tag Sale and an orange sweater from Lane Bryant. The earring are from Charming Charlie's. It's comfy and happy, and that's my favorite kind of outfit.

#2

I heart tunics!! I have a very long waist so finding tops that are long enough tends to be my greatest wardrobe challenge. I found this one at Macy's during their end of summer sale. I think it's Charter Club. It is the perfect length and made of the lightest weight cotton. The embroidered detail at the neckline acts as a necklace requiring very little accessorizing which is lovely when it's so hot and humid. The earrings are from Lane Bryant.

#3

This is only my second peplum top I have worn since 1992. It's a little on the short side in length and the breast darts are in a funky place, so I may need t do a little alteration before wearing it again. It's from Talbots (again on sale) and I love the cream/red polka dot fabric. It can be worn with so many different colors and styles of bottoms. The bag is Vera Bradley (LOVE!!), shoes Talbots, accessories Amazon.com.

Well there you go. Three new to me combinations of clothing. Now to start thinking of fall. Aaahhh! Where does the time go??

Happy Wardrobing!!
