So this weeks Five Favorites is being hosted by the fabulously talented Grace @Camp Patton. I heart Miss Grace and her three little troupers. She is hysterically funny while always speaking the truth about motherhood. It can be the toughest job and the most rewarding all within a 30 second span. I never miss a post of Camp Patton.
Anyhoo, this week has brought me a few emotional ups and downs. Like anyone else I have good days and bad. Today has been a pretty good one but yesterday...not so much. Miss Courtney was in a little bit of a mood and stubborn as all hell. She was NOT interested in participating in any of her exercises or tummy time. So Momma and Miss Court battled most of the day and by the time Daddy arrived home, I was getting a migraine. So at 6 p.m. last evening I gave up and went to bed.
Yep...I was cooked and my honey took one look at me and sent me to bed. Thank you Lord for this man. He is a gift to me...most of the time. LOL! I slept all the way through until 5:30 a.m. this morning and felt like a whole new woman. Thanks Jer. You're the best!
Today has been a good day. Courtney has PT this morning with Miss Pam. This is where we shall begin.

Courtney's physical therapist Miss Pam is a total rock star in our house. She is incredibly dedicated to her patients and I have learned so much from her. She is currently training to run the Marine Corps Marathon in November and has a big birthday tomorrow. So I wanted to give her a little shout out here in this space. We love you Miss Pam!! Thanks for pushing my girl to do all she is capable of, even if she doesn't know it yet.

I have not eaten so well today. I know, bad me. So far I have had a cup of coffee, a Greek yogurt and a slice of strawberry/rhubarb pie. Nutritious yes?
Moving on...
One of my favorite snacks are these little ladies. They are 100 calories a package and just the sweet hit of dark chocolate I need at 3 in the afternoon. Love them!

I have rosecea and it is challenging to find beauty products that don't irritate my face. This cream is a flippin miracle worker. It helps my skin not feel like a wicked case of sunburn. It's the hardest part of having roseaca. The itching and burning. Not so much fun ya know. Anyway, this derma doctor cream is a bit pricey...OK...way, way pricey...but it lasts me at least three months and has really helped so I am willing to pay the price for a little itching/burning peace. That so doesn't sound right but you get my drift.

I love Miss Sarah @ TuckerUp. She is newly married, in a new house and a first year teacher. She is so much fun to read. Her sense of style is awesome. She has a modern flair with a sassy southern twist. Her latest post made me sigh. I want a dress just like this! I love it. I love the choices she gave for dresses like it. I get very excited about tunic style frocks. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next. Oh happy day...

See the fizzy out of control hair...it will look a little different this weekend.
We spend a LOT of time together my girl and I and let me tell you she HATES having her hair brushed or washed or put up. She is not a big fan of any kind of beauty regimen but we do it anyway. I just keep telling her beauty is hard so she needs to get over herself. On Friday my girl is getting her hair cut. Not to worry, I am keeping it on the long side. We are going with a classic bob.
Why would this be on my list of favorites you ask? Well I am going to ask my FAVORITE blog readers to say a little prayer for my girl and her hairstylist Miss Sandy. They have a love/hate relationship and I could always use an extra layer of prayer when it comes to keeping her still and calm while getting her hair cut.
OK...there you have this weeks favorites. Cant wait to check out the blogroll and see what's going on in everyone else's world.
