ca-ching $$...

Well "Big Bertha", Miss Courtney's wheelchair lift van will be spending the weekend with the mechanic. It seems the repair is a little more complicated than we thought. I am praying hard that we will have $$ enough to cover the costs. You all have been so very generous. Please say a prayer as well that there will be enough to take care of whatever the final bill ends up being. Repairing electrical systems is no fun...no fun I say!!

So we will have to make a few adjustments with our weekend plans. This isn't really an issue since Miss Courtney is not having the best of days today.

She started seizing at 2:30 a.m. this morning and hit grand-mal seizures #6 for the day 30 minutes ago. Needless to say I am not functioning at my best. She needs to be held...a lot. These seizures are tough on my girl and tough on her Mama truth be told. Between the low pressure ice storm heading our way and her monthly "visitor", she is pretty much fighting an uphill battle with seizures.

No wheelchair van means Miss Courtney will be homebound this weekend and maybe a few days beyond. This means Mama will be homebound this weekend except for Mass on Sunday. I keep reminding myself that things could be so much worse. Truly they could be.

So it's time to buckle down and trust that it will all work out. TRUST, TRUST, TRUST!

Thanks for your prayers and your gifts...they mean ever so much...truly they do...
