Ephesians 3:20-21...

It is with a most humble and grateful heart that we announce this morning that we have met our goal for the car repair on Big Bertha. Not only met it but superseded it. You most generous and gracious readers, friends and family have given Miss Courtney (and her Mama) the gift of freedom once more. With this we will be able to resume her full therapy schedule in the coming weeks as well as keep some long standing appointments with her specialists.
You raised $1035 in only 48 hours for my girl. We will take the van into the mechanic on Friday, December 6 for the repairs needed. Any money that remains after the repair will go into an emergency fund for Miss Courtney's needs to try and avoid this situation in the future as best we can.

Jerry and I have made the decision for our family to celebrate a "homemade" Christmas this year, not exchanging anything store bought, only gifts made by hand with what we have in our home using our imaginations and the talents given from above.  The money saved will also go into the emergency fund. There is nothing we need. We have each other and the our love of faith and family.

I received several beautiful emails over the last few days offering words of encouragement and grace. You have no idea how these gifts of your love help in times of stress. No idea. They are a balm to a weary Mamas soul. Truly they are. Several of you asked if the PayPal button would remain up so you could contribute at a later time. I will have it to the side bar through the New Year as well as on the main page here though the end of the week. For those wishing to mail something in just email me and I will give you the info needed.

There are no words to express how grateful my family is to all those who contributed both practically and with the torrents of prayer we have felt lift us up each and every day. It is not easy to say publicly "We need help." Trust me, it is never, ever easy for the prideful Irishwoman to admit any weakness. But with the help of the good Lord above, a strong push from the Holy Spirit to bend in humility, you have created yet another Christmas miracle for our family.

May you have a Blessed and Holy Advent my dear friends. Know you will be prayed for and loved by our most grateful family.

"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
