** I used the Cook's Country recipe's for the buttercream frosting as well as the yellow cake batter. They were wonderful. I used jarred lemon curd from Williams and Sanoma (a gift), and made my own sugared lemon slices.
Sorry for the blurry pictures. I am still getting the hang of digital photography :)
