I love a well written Regency Historical. They are usually filled with barons and balls, social intrigue and class conflict. Lady In The Mist is NOT your average Regency. Author Laurie Alice Eakes tells the story of two "average" citizens. It is a tale of redemption and it was one I had a hard time putting down. Tabitha is a woman of grace and strength whose only desire is to help the sick and assist in bringing new life into the world. Dominick is a man on a mission. He is trying to restore his name and reputation while exposing the truth behind politically motivated kidnappings.

This book has got it all. True love, mystery, political intrigue, grace and redemption. It takes place at a time of great unrest in our country. It is a book that you will want to read then read again.
