a new look...

So yesterday afternoon I was feeling brave. I have been wanting to cut my hair for awhile but was not feeling really confident about that choice given all the craziness lately. Finally I had a little time where everyone else's needs were taken care of and I had enough time to meet with my favorite hairstylist, Miss Sandy.

I showed her pictures and we talked about what I was going for. The words I gave her were sassy, youthful, fun and easy to take care of. I have had my hair short for most of my life and then in the last ten years I have had it longer. I have hesitated with cutting it because of my weight gain. I just didn't want to look fatter than I already was.

I know, I know, I am being ridiculous but it's how I feel. So I said a prayer, took a deep breath and over the next hour a new me emerged sassier, younger with a little kick.
