| This is just proof that one should never have a camera close by the college age son when your feeling goofy one evening while watching some of your favorite shows."Thank yewww, Thank Yewww very much" |

Mary, something like this maybe, for by the door?

The cupcakes are lovely-what a great idea! Love the purple duct tape! A very creative way to wrap gifts.
ReplyDeleteYou see clutter in that bottom picture, but my eyes immediately went to the beautiful photos! :-) I love the canvas!
ReplyDeleteCan any of the stuff on that table be moved? If that is a heavily used staging area, is there a place where a console table with baskets could go?
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute table but it looks like it would be fulfilling its purpose in life next to a chair.
You are very brave to allow your picture to be taken while you're making funny faces! I'm sure your son loves those photos - it makes one proud to have a mom who's a good sport!
ReplyDeleteAs for your overburdened entry table (sigh, I know how that goes!), would something like this help?

Would you have a spot for it? Or something like this might be able to hang on the wall under your family photos and give you a place that isn't a horizontal surface for those things that are going in and out.

Kieren - Love the tall cabinet. Didn't think of that. The price point though won't work. But now you have me thinking...
ReplyDeleteMrs. Fordyce - It was wonderful to watch her try to figure out how to open the darn thing. She did it in less than ten minutes. Lot's of laughter!
ReplyDeleteThank you Camille for your kind words. Those were taken a year ago and I really do love them on the canvas.
Peony - It is a major staging area hence the mess. The table was in the garage from the last move. It had the right price tag...FREE...LOL!
Rosie - the vertical mail sorting tutorial is fantastic. I know just where I can put that which would lesson the burden of the little table trying to do too much. LOL! I am still hunting for something with drawers, that way I can put hats and gloves there as well.
ReplyDeleteNow I need to find the right fabric for the mail sorter! Thanks again...
I had friends who would make almost anything out of duct tape - I think your wrapping job would have made them proud :) What fun!
ReplyDeleteHave you checked out the Habitat store in Chantilly? I've heard the Salvation Army in Manassas has good stuff as well.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of the "problem area," I also first noticed the beautiful family photos. What a treasure!
