Today was a pretty good day.
Yep. You read that right.
A pretty good day.
You know why?
Because of YOU! Yes...YOU!
You who read this blog, then bow your head in prayer for my daughter.
You who read my facebook page, and follow my tweets.
You who leave comments and send emails letting us know we are never alone.
You who love me and my daughter through a screen. No judgement...just love...and encouragement.
Today was Miss Courtney's MRI.
So many things could have gone wrong. There were so many variables in play.
But it didn't.
She handle the sedation well...really well.
Because YOU prayed and lifted my girl once more to Our Heavenly Father begging for mercy and kindness.
You surrounded us with love.
He heard you once more and blessed our family once again.
Today there was no trauma, no drama.
Just grace.
We will know in a few days the results of the MRI.
I am at peace with whatever comes our way. I truly am.
Thank you for praying for my girl. Thank you for praying for me.
Thank you for making today a pretty good day indeed.

ReplyDeleteI am glad the MRI went well. Know that I too pray for Courtney, her doctors, nurses, and especially her Mommy and Daddy. I know what it feels like to be lifted in prayer by people you do not and will not ever know - the Communion of Saints here on earth. God Bless you all.
