No, not everyday is wine and roses! We must take the good with the bad. You and your family are here today, and while it is hot, you still have electricity! :) I will pray for no sneezing at dinner as well! You just make me laugh, and smile and be happy! Love you lots! :)

  3. it isn't humid where i am but 110F is not an uncommon temperature so i loathe summer. my hair is totally wavy because of the sweat from the heat and i fear that my husband's parishioners have figured out that the only time i have straight hair is after i wash it. a/c is so worth the price i pay for it.

and we're totally not going to talk about the box of trader joe's "hold the cone!" ice cream cones i inhaled at midnight while writing a controversial blogpost. no siree!

  4. Oh, you make me smile! I know you are having a cranky day and I'm smiling anyway because so many of those emotions I can relate to! Hope tomorrow is better. It's cooled off over here in Baltimore. Hope it makes it's way to you too.

    1. It did cool off Beth...thank goodness. I admit though that I am not looking forward to the summer months. Humidity and I don't get along.

  5. Prayers that tomorrow will be a better day and that you never iron again (unless it is for something fun - like a quilt :0)
