The lessons we learn from the most vulnerable among us can be life changing. In Leanne Hadley's book "Touching Heaven", she tells the stories of children who are not long for this world. This book is touching and heart wrenching, yet filled with such hope and wonder. I thought I would be weeping through the whole thing, but I laughed and I also had to stop and think a time or two about what a particular child was trying to say. They are wise beyond their years for sure.

This book touched me deeply. I know what it is to watch a little person who holds the keys to your heart suffer and hang close to death. My Courtney has danced along that line a time or two. Each time God reveals something new for this Mama to learn, He stretched me and encourages my spiritual growth with each crisis. I can only imagine what Miss Courtney would say to me if she could speak. LOL! I am not sure I want to know.
